Sort of a cliffhanger endingeISBN 10 1 60183 177 3This is one of my auto buy series The only thing I can think of that's wrong with it is that there aren't enough books fast enough Humor but not slap stick stuff This book is well written and edited such an unusual pleasure these daysYou might have to be a Southerner or of a certain age to really 'get' the full stories but I am one and I love that even in this contemporary pnr story Ms George lets me revisit my own childhood summers at my grandparents' farms in Tennessee playing in the woods and no one hovered over us dirt piles mud puddles building forts and climbing trees And the food All of my relatives except my mother were great cooks including my Dad My relatives canned vegetables and fruit made jams and pickles some grew cattle and hogs and one of my Grandfathers made his own wine down in the basement Living now in Texas I can still find Southern cooking here and there we had fried green tomatoes with our catfish meals just the other day at the Cotton Patch restaurant in Lake Worth Good FGTs are a big hassle to make at homeI would want for some interaction with the non Galvahni female characters of the previous books though as I don't remember all of them and I will need to read the books from the beginning some day However it's not necessary to read the whole series because she doesn't load in a lot of things that happened previouslyI really wish this book hadn't ended so abruptly because I was not ready to leave the characters especially when something so awesome happened So this book left us with several intriguing loose threads and now I anxiously wait for the next book That cliffhanger feeling is my only reason for rating this book 4 stars and not 5I highly recommend this whole series

Deep South legends Deep fried curses Deep with a PDFEPUB #235 dish revenge This Debutante Is Having A BallWay down south in the land of cotton one belle's plans are soon forgotten when Sassy Peterson drives her Maserati off the road to avoid a deer and lands smack dab in the proverbial creek without a paddle The Alabama heire. Since I binged this series over the past week or so my review is going to be briefly or as brief as I ever get touch on the specific book and then there will be an overall series section You can choose to read both bits or not As you like Book Specific Review Grim and Sassy when I began this book I wasn't sure if with names like Grim and Sassy this book was going to be like the first two books in the series and less like book 3 I'd say it's a blend there are some wacky moments but overall the tone shift stays in place and the romance was satisfying I would rank it lower than the last book because there are a couple of meh bits in there but I liked the expansion of the 'verse with the inclusion of female demon hunters called the Kirvahni so it balances out in the end I'd recommend itSeries Review I’d read the first two books a long time ago but re read them which lead me down this rabbit hole I was drawn to this urban fantasyparanormal romance series because it’s got your typical protective practically impervious heroes called Dalvahni who are demon hunters mixed with a small town romance vibe in this case the town of Hannah Alabama that I enjoy The way the ‘verse kept expanding pulled me in despite the flaws There was a little hook at the end of each not full cliffhangers because the main romance was resolved during each book but enough of a hook to make the reader want to see what happens next The first two books are way slapstick in its humor country fried exaggerations that were the reasons I didn’t keep going with it However the tonal shift between book 2 and book 3 was distinct The closest analogy I can draw is Buffy the Vampire Slayer the movie vs Buffy the seriesMy big uibbles are the lack of diversity and the little bit there is tends towards stereotypical which was unsatisfying The first couple of books also spends ALOT of time being cringey in the judginess towards sexuality andor crossing some serious boundaries but it definitely gets better as the series goes along The shift in the way the romances are handled is night and day think insta loveuick sex vs slow burns There’s enough backstory explained in each book that you could pretty much jump into the series at any point and not miss a whole lot Bottom Line I like the series as it goes along even with its flaws and considering the way the last book ends Demon Hunting with an Ex I really wantBorrowed through Kindle UnlimitedFor reviews visit

Demon Hunting with a Dixie DebHe's a Hunting with a PDFEPUB #234 demon hunter named Grim Also Why would a troop of fairies want to give her magical powers and rainbow hair Why would a style challenged beast called the Howling Hag want to hunt her down Most importantly what's a nice debutante like Sassy doing in a place like this anyway Besides feeling Gr. The story of how Sassy Peterson meets demon hunter Grim was so delightfully unexpected that I just might have to give in and buy a physical copy to add to my shelves Sassy is an aptly named character She is so spunky and positive that she should drive me nuts but she is adorable and a complete opposite to the big intimidating GrimHer adventures as she tries to settle the sale of her brothers sawmill was laugh out loud funny especially after comes into contact with the local fairies and I loved her embracing of her new realityA complete hoot would recommend to anyone who loves paranormal romance and good laugh
