Eaches her misery threshold Evelyn does the unthinkable and deviates from her plan Her unexpected new job takes her to Pinehaven Ranch in the middle of nowhere Montana where Evelyn is faced with her biggest obstacle yet No coffee shops within a mile radius and her new boss’ brother. 5 starsI picked this book on a recommendation from a Mariana Zapata's group so I knew it would be a slow burn and boy I was not disappointed with that I wasn't disappointed at all actuallyWhen I started closing my eyes and wanted to hide because I was embarrassed for Evie’s behaviour as much as she obviously was I knew I was in for a really good book because that meant I could relate to her She was a very lovable character with all her ualities and flaws insecurities and hidden strengths Sure I knew from the start where that was heading the turns of events weren’t that unexpected and I was not surprised one bit from Jack’s admission on the reasons behind his behaviours from the start But that was ok for me It was a light read and at the same time a much needed one Because as much as it was a romance all right it’s also a journey of self discovery from how lost you can feel when plans don’t go how you thought they would to finding happiness in the place you expected it the least It was so much than a romance as much in that regard as in the relationships Evie developed with the other characters Gabe most of all I loved the banter going on between those two and laughed my ass off countless times thanks to them Same goes for Ben and Evie I really dig friendships and I loved that she had that kind of relationship from the start with Ben All in all I would definitely recommend this book Maybe don’t go there expecting lots of surprises in terms of plot twists but who does when they pick up a romance book seriously The primary reason we love them is because they end up the way they do but go there for a light read one that will probably make you blush and want to hide if you connect to Evelyn but that will also make you laugh and fall in love with that land and its people in Montana Also I'd love to see Gabe again in another book Just to put it out there

Everything GirlFormer rodeo champion Jack Danvers The three words that best describe Jack are stink stank stunning He is perfection and he inexplicably seems to hate her on sight But if there is one thing life has taught her it’s that she still has a lot to learn and Montana is full of surprises. This book is overloaded with cuteness and fun and I loved every moment of itWith a long slow burn between Evelyn and Jack you would expect the story to drag but it never did Evelyn was such a fun engaging heroine I couldn’t get enough of her The way she thought about things the way she acted and her response to embarrassing moments held me captivated from the first page I laughed throughout the entirety of this bookWe don’t get Jack’s point of view which I really really needed to feel a connection to him but I loved Evelyn enough to help make up for the lack of Jack This couple actually are rarely in the same scene for a good portion of the story In spite of that fact I was never bored With an abundance of secondary characters and animals that kept this heroine on her toes I was thoroughly entertainedWhen this couple finally start to make headway I was so hungry for it I couldn’t stop reading I expected there to be some heavy angst but that was never the case This is chick lit rom com small town romance at its bestThank goodness for book buddies who know when to push you into reading a new author and an amazing bookRead via Kindle UnlimitedHeroine POVSafe view spoiler h not a virgin; H not really made out to be a manwhore although he was for a while in his past; before anything happens romantically between hH the H does go out with his friends and returns the next morning wearing same clothes as night before leading the h and the reader to believe he spent the night with ow – this issue is never discussed so we never learn if he did or didn’tI’m figuring he did; ow comes on to H at a party and h thinks he’s gone off to do the deed but before the night is over he tells her that he was not with flirty ow hide spoiler

Everything Girl is a debut novel that delivers a slow burn with a wonderful cast and a sweet storylineIt was a solid performance for a debut novel Well written with satisfying dialogues and a sweet plotThe story in its entirety didn't wow me or leave me with a book hangover But I can see the charm of it all and the slow burn definitely worked for this couple At times I felt the story dragged a bit and with over 400 pages it could have used some trimming I'm not surprised that I started skipping after the first half of the bookInterestingly enough the story was drama free and as I mentioned before it was mostly sweet and charming The author allowed time for new friendships banter and lots of family interaction in addition to the slow burn romanceUnfortunately I still felt like that there was something missing to make this book a standout novel All in all it was a sweet read but nothing specialNevertheless for a debut novel Everything Girl was a great start It was miles better than other debut novels The author has real potential and I'm looking forward to see what she comes up with nextFind reviews and book recommendations on my blogFollow me on Bookstagram
